TYMOTHE is my creative identity, Timothy is my birth given name. North Carolina Born and currently residing as a freelance graphic designer and full time artist exploring autobiographical experiences, and psychological constructs through my artworks.

Graduating from North West School of the Arts HS, is the last form of creative education other than self-sought resources and working experience. Blending styles through my application of specific mediums and tools. Traditional exercises with modern day resources for creative brainstorming and to compose ideas into artworks.

Street art and Graphic design were my first experiences of creative freedom. Both are major influences for my choice of working in various forms of acrylic paints applied to wood, canvas, and paper. Heavy black outlines, organic shapes, and colorful stories of representational and non representational imagery fill juxtaposing dimensions.

As work has progressed I’ve begun rendering abstracted three-dimensional figures and objects to use as technical references during the creative process and as forms of expression. Pushing my creative style to allow a different experience for each person, that can also change depending on their emotional consciousness. This is a very important point of my work.

Each artwork is rooted from a singular creative language expressed through multiple dialects with strong attributes of abstraction, surrealism, art-brut, and pop art. Experiences are essential to the consciousness of popular culture and unity.

Mixing flat landscapes and dimensional forms with references of the world that surrounds us. Fluid patterns found in clusters and flowing throughout compositions as expressive or narrative. The use of negative space and contrast help create depth and energy.
